Keith McCandless and Henri Lipmanowicz were working in a hospital based setting to fix what should be a fixable problem: reducing hospital based infection. But despite "knowing" everything that should be done, the system failed over and over again to do it. Through their work, Keith and Henri kept bringing refined bits of existing and new group processes to the table and realized the key was to liberate action, not direct it.
Nancy, a highly experienced KM practitioner and co-author of Digital Habitats (with Etienne Wenger) is also a passionate Liberating Structures practitioner. Please join us to learn a bit about LS, and PRACTICE it! Fun will be had. Bring your open mind, and maybe even a challenge or two!
