Join this class via zoom to energise yourself and leave the class feeling happy and uplifted and free from stress. Letting go of stress makes you more effective and happy in all areas of your life - in your relationships - at work and with friends.
In this class you will learn to increase your natural laughter with physical movements, breathing techniques and fun playful activities.
You will conclude with relaxation and meditation so you feel clear and connected. You will notice you feel both deeply peaceful and energised.
Laughter grows and is contagious in a group.
Laughter is proven to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, improve heart health, reduce the symptoms of anxiety and depression and leave you feeling happy from the release of serotonin, endorphins, dopamine and oxytocin.
Laughter reduces cortisol in your blood. Excess levels of cortisol cause digestive issues, high blood pressure, reduced immune function and more. By reducing the levels of cortisol you are reducing the chances you will develop stress related illness.
Stress can cause insomnia and sleep disorders. Laughing helps reduce your stress and improve your sleep.
Laughing helps you feel more open hearted and this helps you connect to your friends and family.
You do not need to have a sense of humour for this class. Come along with an openness and a willingness to laugh.
You have probably seen babies laughing and realise they do not need jokes or humour to be able to laugh. Laughing is a physical ability we had as children and it can be lost as we turn into serious responsible adults.
Let yourself reclaim your child like playfulness and sense of fun in this class.
Laughing is as natural as breathing, - sometimes because of life events, stress at work or serious situations taking place, your ability to laugh can get switched off and you can forget how good it feels to have a great long laugh.
This is your chance to reactivate your laugh and share your laughter with others.
Join like minded laughers and use the power of the group to ignite and expand your laughter. You will feel relaxed and happy after laughing.
In this class you will follow a series of breathing, gentle movement and specific actions that generate your laughter from within your body.
Laughter is magnified when practised in a group and is very contagious. It is playful and fun.
Laughing prepares our body and mind for deep relaxation and meditation which will complete your class.
