Melbourne Pickleball @ Flagstaff Gardens

Come play the sport which is taking the United States of America by storm. Think Tennis, Badminton and Table Tennis combined into one! Pickleball can be played by most ages and abilities. Games are played on a badminton size court with composite plastic paddles and a wiffleball.

Pickleball’s growing popularity can be attributed to its low impact but often high stakes matches. It is considered a “social sport'' as learning how to play usually takes only 15-30 mins. Matches are played either as singles or doubles. Games are played to 11 points.

Melbourne Pickleball Meetup takes place at the Flagstaff Tennis Courts in the Melbourne CBD.

Paddles and Balls are provided.

This week we will aim to be running four nets. Event capacity will be adjusted accordinly. This allows for sufficient rotation and rest time.

If you are a new player, we recommend you coming right at the start for some 1 on 1 tips.

Recommended Clothing: Tennis Shoe or athletic court shoe. Comfortable clothing that allows for movement.

Cost: $10 per person. In order to secure your spot, help limit us limit "no shows" and ensure everything runs smoothly on the day please process this payment by the Wednesday prior to the session. Those who don't process payment will be moved to the waitlist. Please do not complete payment if you are on the waitlist.

Wet weather clause: Refunds are applied if the event is cancelled due to poor weather conditions (i.e. rain) or extreme heat (above 35 degrees) Refund cannot be offered for change of mind or inability to attend. Credits cannot be made for future events.
