A review of a recent experiment to see how far you can get using recent developments in LLM’s to write you an entire application.

We recently needed to deliver some changes to AWS that would possibly impact a large number of customers, and needed a way at scale to detect and remediate any impact, by leveraging AWS CloudTrail, EventBridge, DynamoDB and Lambda we were able to quickly develop a solution that could notify us in real time of any impact.

Everybody wants to be a YouTube star… but it takes a lot of hard work, time and effort to write scripts, setup cameras, record, edit and upload videos. And what’s better than working hard? Building an application on AWS to use generative AI technologies to do the hard work for you off nothing more than a prompt… think ChatGPT for YouTube.

In this session I’ll walk through how I’ve built a serverless application on AWS using SageMaker, step functions and Polly (amongst others) to streamline the whole process from script to upload in a matter of minutes. We’ll walk through why I’ve chosen certain technologies over others and some of the pitfalls and issues I’ve experienced along the way
