Let’s meet for a casual evening of indoor bouldering at BlocHaus Port Melbourne.

Bouldering is climbing on shorter walls with padded mats, without ropes or harnesses. BlocHaus describes it as a social activity that can be done with or without a partner, and their first-time page says beginners can come along and hire what they need in-house.

We’ll meet near reception at 6:30pm, do a short warm-up/pre-workout, then start climbing around 7:00pm. You can climb as much or as little as you like, take breaks, watch others climb, or work on problems together.

This is not a competition or a formal coaching session. Everyone is responsible for climbing within their own ability and following BlocHaus rules/staff instructions.

Who this is for

  • Beginner-friendly and suitable for people who want a relaxed social climb.
  • Experienced climbers are also welcome, especially if you are happy to climb casually and help keep the vibe friendly.
  • Solo attendees are very welcome. You do not need to come with a climbing partner.
