Belgrave to Bayswater via Jell's Park (33km 172m elevation)

Hi,

Late roll call for something a little different this Saturday. Dave and I will be doing this ride and welcoming other's who may wish to join us!

We will start in Bayswater, at the railway station. We will catch the 7.26am train up to Belgrave. This should get us into Belgrave at 7.49. So of course people can also meet us there at the station exit on to the service road (then catch the train back up to Belgrave from Bayswater at the end of the ride). I just checked if anyone was to join from the city - probably not advised as looks like there are bus replacement from the CBD to Camberwell area!

We will head off from Belgrave station after we arrive - around 7.50 and head straight down the hill towards UFTG. Then head west along the Ferny Creek Trail until we hit the Dandy Creek Trail just south of Jell's Park. Head north up through Jell's where we can stop for coffee at T house (approx. 18km in). From there we will continue on the DCT heading north then East taking us back in to Bayswater and head back to the Station!

It's a pretty flat route apart from the moderately steep descent at the start out of Belgrave, so some caution needed there, so we should be able to keep a good pace up around 18kmh so I've tagged this one up as an Inter ride, even though it will be a pretty easy route!

We will parked up in the station by 7.15 to catch the 7.26am train. Meet on the platform and remember your Myki card! Ride will start around 7.50 out of Belgrave, so let me know if you plan to start the ride meeting us in Belgrave instead of Bayswater. I'll be on a black Giant gravel bike, and Dave on a black Hybrid bike.

At the moment the forecast looks good - partly sunny and 12 degrees @ 8am! Hopefully see you all there for a lovely morning out!
