Hi, I am pleased to announce that I have stepped up to become the new organiser of the Melbourne Spiritual Connections meetup group.
To me, spirituality is a way of life and to me this includes being kind and respectful to everyone including animals and especially to oneself. Our group is non-denominational and sets out to embrace all philosophies and belief systems. I like to think that we are inclusive and welcoming of everyone.
I personally believe that it is important and fun to connect with conscious, like-minded people as in that way we can grow and support each other on our individual spiritual journey.
At this point in time this group will be focussing on social events with a possible view to hosting talks and presentations in the new year.
Being mindful of the current economic climate and the financial stresses a lot of people are currently facing, I will endeavour to host affordable, regular catchups including social dinners and weekend lunches. With the nicer, warmer weather just over the horizon we will be organising some free outdoor events such as picnics, barbecues and walks.
So please keep an eye out for further updates over the coming weeks and months. Let's grow our attendance at events and have lots of fun and social connection in the process.
