New C++11 / C++14 Features

Welcome to another Melbourne C++ Meetup!

This month we'll be looking at some new features added in C++11 and/or C++14.

We're trialing a new format this month, so instead of one person preparing a semi-formal talk presentation, we'll have everyone (that wants to) spend just a few minutes (5 to 10, depending on the level of discussion) talking about one specific new C++ feature.

So, pick a new C++ feature (it could lambdas, constexpr, range-based for loops, etc), get at least a basic understanding of what and why it is (you don't need to be an expert), then come prepared to show a quick demo.

But don't feel pressured to prepare anything - if you just want to come along and listen / learn / discuss, then that's absolutely fine too! This new format just provides an opportunity for those that want to talk or present to be able to do so without the having to prepare a full hour-long presentation; and also means you don't have to get tired of listening to someone like me talk for an hour ;)
