City to Newport Lake and Williamstown (33km Social ride)

Details
Sunday is looking good for a social pace ride to Williamstown (via Newport Lakes) for lunch / coffee
(We last did this same ride during Covid in November '20)
Ride:
An easy paced ride mostly on bike paths and some local streets in Willi.
If you need to get back early then it's not far to ride. Trains from Williamstown are running on Sunday (but not Saturday) if needed.
We'll likely get back around 2:30.
Forecast:
Partly cloudy, light winds and 16°C. Unlikely to rain.

Any mechanically sound bicycle. Pumping your tyres to recommended pressures well beforehand is highly recommended. If it is windy you may find pannier bags slowing your bike down so consider leaving them off.
