Spiritual Initiation & The Great Pyramid of Egypt

There is a lot of talk about spiritual initiation, enlightenment, and
Ascended Masters, Masters of Wisdom, Mahatmas, etc… but what
does it all mean?

In the Ancient Wisdom, spiritual initiation is generally
used in reference to entering into the sacred wisdom under the
direction of initiates, in the Schools of the Mysteries. By initiation the
candidate quickens natural spiritual evolution and thus anticipates the
growth which will be achieved by the generality of humanity at a much
later time in developmental evolution.

According to Theosophy, the
Great Pyramid of Egypt was one such sacred place of spiritual initiation.

Andrew Rooke, is the former Chief Librarian of Monash Health with BA
(Hons) specializing in Buddhism in China and Master of Librarianship
specializing in the development of libraries in developing countries,
especially Africa. Andrew spent many years working in Australia, Africa
and the USA in university and medical libraries. Andrew is the
author/editor of many journal articles and of books on spiritual subjects
including: Laws of Life and The Return of the Prodigal Son (2004) and
Creator and Creators (2018), these books co-authored/edited with
Roza and Margarita Riaikkenen.

This event is hosted by the Mornington Peninsula Group of the Theosophical Society and take place at the Mornington Community House, 3/91 Wilsons Road, Mornington.

The afternoon begins with a Meditation @ 12:30pm which is followed by a shared lunch @ 1pm.
The presentation itself will begin @ 2pm and conclude @3:30pm.
