New Year Goals - Workshop and Discussion
Details
Join Men's Group NJ for a special New Year resolutions workshop & discussion.
Each attendee will receive short writing prompts... to help them define the most important actions... they will be taking in 2026... across domains such as habits, learning, social life, leisure, family, and career.
We will spend 25 minutes with the writing prompts and independent planning; followed by small group discussion on what we each have come up with.
May 2026 be a great blessing to all of us and all of our relations π
Hope to see you there! π
(Note: the writing prompts for this activity are research-based shown to be effective at improving achievement levels. β We are pulling the questions straight from the beginning of the "Self Authoring" (Future Authoring) program, by Jordan Peterson. Attendees can later purchase the full program if they wish to go deeper. However, what we will be doing is also a stand-alone that is beneficial on its own.)

ABOUT MEN'S GROUP:
Sharing authentically is core to Menβs Group. Many men, even if surrounded by friends and family, feel isolated and alone in their true experience of life. Sharing β from your heart (distinct from sharing from your head) β is challenging, enlightening, and liberating.
This meetup will occur every two weeks. Attendees are encouraged to attend regularly, rather than as a one-off. (But one-off's are okay as well.)
***
BENEFITS:
- Experience being heard and seen by other men who do not belittle what you're up to or what you're stopped by.
- Create and re-create your purpose on an ongoing basis.
- Be held accountable for who you say you want to be.
- Explore what it means to be a man.
(+ Confidentiality: what is shared in the group, stays in the group.)
***
OUTLINE:
- Check-ins and icebreakers
- Writing Prompts and Sharing - each session will feature a theme -- which each man will be free to speak on; followed by reflection from the others.
(Our format is based off The Men's Group Field Guide, by Brett Churnin. Get your free copy here, only if interested.)
