Come and join for a fun and adventurous hike up to the top of Elsie's Peak (at 303 metres) and a traverse below the peak on the cliffs overlooking False Bay. There will be some rock crawling and scrambling through rock features and under some rock overhangs. You will need to be confident with your balance and with walking on an uneven surface that winds up and down along a narrow path which does get bushy in a few places. The pace will also be fairly quick so you will need to be fit.

You will be rewarded with panoramic views (on a clear day) over Fish Hoek, Glencairn, Simonstown, Noorhoek and False Bay.

Bring 2 litres of water, snacks, a warm layer of clothing, a rain jacket and a sun hat.
This hike is graded at 1Bc (just under 6 kms)

Please see https://www.meridian-hiking.org.za/day-hikes for more information on what to bring, and for the grading of this hike.
