Metropolitan Walkers is part of the Ramblers, Britain's walking charity. All welcome for 3 'taster' walks, after which please join the Ramblers - info on the Met Walkers website
We will explore a completely new area for Met Walkers traversing the beautiful heaths and nature reserves south of Midhurst. Expect remote isolated rolling heathland and woodland with great views, hills 770m total ascent, finish in the historic town of Midhurst.
Bring a packed lunch, afternoon pub stop, pub at end of the walk.
Travel: Take 09:05 from London Victoria (09:12 Clapham Jn, 09:23 East Croydon), arr. 10:28 Amberley.
At the end of the walk, there will be a bus from Midhurst either to Haslemere (No70 bus, £2 card tap) or Chichester , with the preferred option being Haslemere with its quicker connections to London.
Buy a return to Havant if returning on the train from Haslemere, (or return to Chichester if returning from Chichester).
Grading: Strenuous.
