Heading over to Wandlebury Country Park we will follow the Roman road for around 4 miles before making our way onto the Fleam Dyke, a 3 mile long high bank and ditch which dates back between 300 to 600 AD. After passing through Fulbourn Fen Nature Reserve we will spend the last 3 miles through Cambridge. Walk will be held at a moderately fast pace.
Pub stop for drinks only, bring a packed lunch.
Travel: Take 9:28 London Liverpool Street (9:40 Tottenham Hale), arr. Shelford 10:43. Buy return to Cambridge.
Grading: Strenuous.
