What we’re about
Miami Moviegoers, grab your popcorn, and let’s go to the movies! This group is designed to connect cinema lovers in the South Florida area and to advocate for the theater experience. If you want to join, it’s simple: all you have to do is buy your ticket ahead of time and show up. And perhaps purchase some concessions when you’re there! Also, we often plan pre or post screening events where we can hang out and talk about everything film.

Frankenstein (1931) with Live Score at Technique Records
Technique Records, 880 NE 79th St, Miami, FL 33138, Miami, FL, USMiami Moviegoers, let's go to a record store and celebrate Halloween! The Miami Moviegoers are teaming up with Technique Records for a special Halloween season presentation of Frankenstein (1931)! This screening will feature the sounds of Bruce Palmer accompanying the film.
The showing will be followed by a social event taking place at the store, where Moviegoers can celebrate the spooky season and get to know each other better. Costumes encouraged!

F*cktoys at Gems Film Festival ft. Q&A with Annapurna Sriram!
Silverspot Cinema, 300 SE 3rd St. Suite 100, Miami, fl, USMiami Moviegoers, let's go to Gems Film Festival! We are gathering a group of like-minded movie lovers together at Silverspot Cinema for Fucktoys featuring a live Q&A with star Annapurna Sriram! The first feature film from writer-director-star Annapurna Sriram, the film takes the audience on a sex worker's odyssey through a glow stick-drenched alternate reality.
We will first arrive at 6:45 PM to get to know each other better before the film. We will meet outside the auditorium, and then we will enter and try to sit together. As part of our partnership with the festival, Miami Moviegoers are entitled to a discount when they use the promo code MOVIEGOERS at checkout on the website HERE. Following the film and Q&A, we will hang out for a bit to talk about the film.
