🗺️ Miami Photo Walks 015: Pre-Basel in Wynwood

Join us for an exciting photo walk in Wynwood and experience the neighborhood as Miami Art Week + Art Basel begin to flood the city. The main activities of Art Basel take place in Miami Beach, however satellite events occur in various neighborhoods including but not limited to Wynwood, Miami Design District, Brickell, Little Haiti.

THEME: This walk, we will explore Wynwood as the buzz already begins with a sort of 'quiet preparation.' We want to highlight those signs, the ones that may be obvious (tape or stencils from an ongoing piece, a wall half painted, artist tools/materials temporarily left on the ground) or not as easily noticed (the way light shines on a blank canvas, paint splatters on a wall or fence, texture contrasts between old walls and new paint).

Join us as we capture the setup, the stillness, and the anticipation. Think: BTS details that make the art possible. Your shots can feature people, or highlight the spaces, details, and textures that bring the art to life. It can also be a combination of it all!

You could by a hobbyist, seasoned photographer or just love the experience of capturing images on your phone. All levels are welcome. Come ready to explore + connect with fellow creatives.

7:30 AM - 9:30 AM: photo walk begins

9:45 AM: wrapping up walk at Panther Coffee

Dress: as comfy and as styled as you wish. Keep in mind weather (heat/rain)
