Sunset River Hike at Parkville

Let’s hike 3-4 miles of Platte and English Landing trails along the Mighty Missouri River, and through the newly completed wetland area. The sunflowers and other wetland grasses are full height and the sunset should be spectacular over the water.

No dogs.

The trail is well defined, wide, and primarily flat with crushed rock.

Plan on hiking a casual to moderate pace and staying with the group. We’ll stop periodically to take in the sights. We’ll walk Platte Landing first, then English landing. Anyone running late can catch up with us on the trail.

Meet by the orange vehicle barricades where the pin points on the map, between the parking lot entrance and bathrooms.
