Fernworthy loop from the Warren house inn (10 miles)
Details
A roughly 10 mile route starting at the Warrren House Inn.
We'll go north to the woodlands surrounding Fernworthy reservoir & then head in to do a loop of the reservoir it's self, where there are very good forestry commission tracks throughout.
There's a nice spot with picnic benches with a view of the reservoir, (and usually a food van too) where we'll stop for some lunch.
As usual good footwear is advised, though most of it is on unusually good tracks for us, there is a stretch of moorland from the Warren House Inn to the forest (and back)
We'll go ahead whatever the weather, unless there are very high winds forecast, as there's somewhat more shelter than normal as most of the walk is in the woods.
Potential for stopping in a the Warren Inn afterwards for food/drinks
Suggest parking in the car parks a bit further along the road, as the Warren house have been a bit funny with walking groups parking outside the pub in the past
