Delayed Start - Scanning Tunneling Microscopes

We may demo some AI coding techniques, some radio hardware (unrelated to this project, but really cool!) - and attempt some data collection using a multi-step like-to-like scan process to optimize our PID controller, among other aspects.
In Person Location: Rockville Library, second floor meeting room (Collaboration Room 2).
We hit a milestone of around 6nm - but are having strong distortions below that. Let's do a data review day and come up with specific strategy ideas.

All starting CAD, code, and reference files are being generated if they don’t exist already. Let’s be the first Maker community to document the build process and share it with learners around the world. We are building this for less than $1K in materials costs, and prepping learning kits others try out.
We are also open to university, lab, or community partnerships so feel to reach out if you want to be part of this project.
Together, we can do incredible things.
