Monthly Tech Talk Pages

The Monthly Tech Talk is an initiative of ARDC, QCIF, Intersect, NCI, VicNode, TPAC, eRSA and Pawsey. The Tech Talks are a monthly community gathering to showcase and discuss the technical side of Australia's research infrastructure.

Intended audiences:
Developers, data scientists, researchers who are building data tools, data technologists and data librarians

There are two general objectives:
(1) Provide a forum for developers to discuss topics of interest to them
(2) Enable a dialogue between developers, NCRIS facilities about their requirements

Virtual Meeting Style:
Each month, there will be a meeting room booked at a number of Australian Capital cities for developers/researchers/data technologist/data scientist to get together and discuss some technical topics of interest to them. The meeting rooms will be linked together by videoconference software (e.g. Zoom or gotomeeting). The initial topics will be jointly proposed by ARDC, QCIF, Intersect, VICNode, eRSA and Pawsey. Future topics will be derived from these initial meetings with the intention that the agenda will be driven by those attending.
