Empower yourself through yoga! Join us for heightened mental and spiritual well-being, improved mobility and strength, better bodily awareness, stronger sense of self, and a sense of calm and emotional clarity. Practicing yoga can positively change your life in ways you never imagined. We will practice outdoors when Mother Nature gifts us the opportunity, and in studio on less fortunate days. No matter where we practice, we will do so with intention to cultivate our inner and outer strength through Hatha/Vinyasa yoga. Strength & Stretch: Barre with Yin Yoga: Get fit, make friends & feel your best✨
Studio Équilibre Sherbrooke, 8 Sherbrooke St E, Montreal, QC, CAGet fit, have fun, make friends, and feel your best with this barre fitness and yin yoga fusion class! Barre is a low-impact, full body workout designed to burn your muscles for effective toning & strengthening, all while moving to fun music. Then we slow it down and balance out our practice with slow, deep stretches using yin yoga. This is the perfect practice to build strength and increase mobility and flexibility. No dance, yoga, or prior experience required but be ready to move!
The class will be from 11AM-12:30PM. It will be around 50 minutes of barre, and 40 minutes of yin with savanasa. Afterwards if people are interested, we can go for coffee at a nearby cafe to get social. :)
What should I expect from a Barre class?
Barre is accessible to all, but it is a workout! Expect a fusion of Pilates, yoga, and ballet movements. We will work the entire body from head to toe, targeting all muscle groups and working them to the fullest. We will also use light weights (optional) and Pilates props. Props and mats will be supplied.What should I expect from Yin Yoga?
We hold relaxing deep stretch postures for between 2-5 minutes. This allows us to deeply release tension in the muscles and the mind, and give ourselves a moment of peace and stillness. This will help you feel very open, relaxed, and restored after the workout.What should I bring?
Comfy clothes you can move easily in, a small towel if you tend to sweat, water, a positive attitude, and good energy! :) There are mats and props at the studio.How much does it cost/how to pay?
$20 if you are coming alone. If you bring a friend, the price for two is $30, so $15 each. Also, when you come to 4 of my classes, your 5th class is always free. :)

Spring Outdoor Meditation and Yoga Retreat

At this retreat, we will use nature as a background for a comprehensive digital detox and a profound nervous system reset. Through various therapeutic and mindfulness meditation techniques, breathwork, and nervous system regulation practices, you will gain tools that you can use in all areas of your life.
The retreat takes place at the stunning Auberge Yoga Salamandre, just 1 hour from Montreal and 15 minutes from Bromont.
Led by Dr. Moire Stevenson, Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience in mental health and a background in biology and biochemistry, this retreat draws on evidence-based ecotherapy and somatic techniques to create lasting psychological benefit.

To help make it more accessible, we have early bird reduced costs and have added an option to Come for the Day which includes access to the site, workshops, guided outdoor meditation, yoga, and meals on Saturday only.
The ticket below is for a dormitory room, and covers access to the site, food (vegetarian/vegan), workshops, yoga, materials, and accommodations in the dormitory.

- Therapeutic activities to reflect on specific aspects of life and well-being. I will guide you through different mindfulness-based therapeutic techniques, including somatic practices, that we will integrate throughout our various outdoor activities
- Chilling outside by the fire and inside in the beautiful Inn
- Other mindful sports and activities like mindful running and yoga
This is an all-inclusive retreat with catering provided by Veganessa
Transportation:
Transportation is not provided by the retreat. If you do not have a car available, there is a bus line through LimoCar that takes you to Bromont Autoparc 74, which is 15 minutes from the retreat centre. If you plan to take LimoCar to Bromont, please contact us at [info@moirestevenson.com](mailto:info@moirestevenson.com) and we will help coordinate a ride for you from the bus station in Bromont to the retreat center.
We will send out an email to participants to organize carpooling about 1 week prior to the event.
