The Fall Guy (Movie at Palace Penny Lane)

This month we will go a bit blockbuster and see 'The Fall Guy', starring Ryan Gosling & Emily Blunt. Looks like it has some good reviews and it'll a fun movie to enter into the weekend.

The film starts @ 7:15pm so meet upstairs in the popcorn/foyer area at 7:05pm. I'll aim for that sit down area, I'll wear a bright orange pocket square to make it easy to find me, but I'll look out for lost souls too.

At 9:45pm for people who are interested in going for a food/drink and a chat about the movie, we will be going to Strangeloves Wine Bar @ 9.45pm, a five minute stroll from the venue. Hope to see you all there.

**Movie Synopsis**
Oscar® nominee Ryan Gosling (Barbie, La La Land, Drive) stars as Colt Seavers, a battle-scarred stuntman who, having left the business a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health, is drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie—being directed by his ex, Jody Moreno, by Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer, A Quiet Place films, Sicario)—goes missing.

Inspired by the hit 1980s TV series, The Fall Guy also stars Winston Duke (Black Panther franchise) and Academy Award® nominee Stephanie Hsu (Everything Everywhere All at Once).

Everyone will need to buy their own ticket online and in advance. To keep us together, try and aim for the back few rows if you can. Book as early as you can, as they can sell out on Friday nights.

** Afterwards **
For people wanting to have a chat and a debrief afterwards, this week we will be head to Strangeloves Wine Bar @ 9.45pm for drinks and food if you are hungry. This is a 5 minute walk from the cinema on Mt Alexander Road.
