Book your ticket for the 6:40pm session here. Meet us in Varsity (next door) for a chat and a bite to eat at 6:00pm, and we'll head into the cinema at 6:40pm. Seating is allocated so there's no rush, and we usually hang around for a chat after the film too.
It's a half price session so regular seats are $13.50 (or $15.20 online) if you sign up for their free "Cinebuzz" membership. My seat is K8.
This is based on a Stephen King novella and was adapted by Mike Flanagan (Midnight Mass, Doctor Sleep). Last year it beat Anora for the Toronto Film Festival's People's Choice Award.
Chuck Krantz (Tom Hiddleston) is at the end of his time on earth. As things around him begin to stop making sense, we move backwards through his life to discover the paths he ventured, the ones he chose to ignore, and the experiences that moulded him. The Life of Chuck is told in three parts, exploring the importance of connection, love, and the self within the impossibly large vastness of life.
