Lights, Camera, Meetup! (Wellington)

Wellington is such an incredible movie-making hub — yet when we moved here, we were surprised there wasn’t a regular film meetup in town. So… we decided to make one!

Join us for a super casual Sunday afternoon film hangout. Whether you work in the film industry (any department, any role) or you’re simply a film enthusiast who loves being around creative people, you’re warmly invited.

We’re a couple who recently moved from London to Welly. Back in the UK, we were constantly attending film networking events, workshops, and crew socials, and we’d love to get to know the local creative community here too.

This is our first ever film meetup, so we’re keeping it easy, friendly, and low-pressure — just drinks, chats, and connecting with other people who love storytelling, screen arts, and behind-the-scenes magic.
