The Valley at Ranscombe

The Valley at Ranscombe is a beautiful spot for a first walk. The route is gently hilly in places and offers stunning views over the Medway Valley. After heavy rain, the path can become muddy, so please wear appropriate footwear.
If you're lucky, you might spot deer roaming freely through the area, adding to the charm of the walk.
Ranscombe Farm is an important botanical site, known for its rare plant species such as meadow clary and rough mallow. It is also home to six species of orchids—some of which you may be fortunate enough to see during your walk.
To help protect the local plants and wildlife, please stay on the designated footpaths.
The walk is approximately 2.3 miles long and should take around one hour to complete.
