Music Listening Hour

Join us this Sunday Feb 15 for an evening of laid back song sharing over Zoom!

Here's how it works:

Sign into the zoom meeting at 8pm EST using the link provided by Meetup. I will call on members one at a time to pick a song to listen to. When you are called, just share the title/artist for the song, and if you want to, take a moment to tell the group about it! I will stream the song over Zoom so we can all listen together in real time. You can always pass if you'd rather just listen.

When will you get called to choose a song?? The order for choosing songs is lottery style. I'll run the lottery using the RSVP list and announce the order at the start of the event. I'll also post reminders in the Zoom chat throughout the event of whose turn is coming up, so keep an eye out for that. Please be a good sport about the order. There is no cap on attendance and the event will go however long it takes for everyone to share a song! Best estimate is about 3 hours. Regular attendees know that we usually control for time with a 12 song limit - lowest 12 lottery numbers pick a song and we go for about an hour - Feb 15 is a special Unlimited edition! Come on any other Sunday for the tight one hour 12 song version of the event (with a chance you don't get picked to share a song).
