Monument Rock Loop- let's start with something easy.

Details
Let’s hike. Our plan for this hike will be a gentler stroll onto a mesa ( little elevation gain), then down to the planted forest.
We will walk over to Monument Rock from there. Then back to the trees and we will return to the parking lot.
Our path should be close to 2.5 miles and be in the open while on the mesa, but after that, we will be in the trees/shade for most of the return trip.
Dogs are permitted off-leash. There is no signage about leashing dogs. This is part of the Pike National Forest. Bring water for your dog.
