If you are interested in one of the following, this is a ride suitable for you:

• Want to ride mainly on PCN/Pavement (99%) to gain confidence
• Want to start your journey of riding long distances, joining MBG's overseas adventures (Kukup, Malacca, Phuket/Krabi, Sichuan etc)
• Want to ride in a friendly and safe environment

RIDE DETAILS:

Ride Grading: 2.5 (1 Easy - 5 Very Strenuous)

Terrain: 99% PCN/Pavement

Bike Type: Folding Bikes (Any other bikes are also welcome)

Distance: ~55 KM

Speed: rolling at 18 ~ 20 Km/h

Meeting Point: Bishan Park McDonalds

Meeting time: 07:30am

Moving out time: 07:45am sharp

End time : ~13:30pm

LTA ROAD/NPARKS RIDING REGULATIONS:

While riding on the road, please ride as below formation:

5 pax of single file per group.
10 pax of 2 abreast per group (provided 2 or more lanes on the road). Single lane road shall adhere with single file of 5 pax.

Between groups shall not be intersect and keep a distance of ~30m for safety and visibility purposes.

Riding on PCN, to stay on the designated bicycle lane (painted red path).

Important Safety Instructions!

Follow traffic rules. Stop at red lights.

No overtaking on left.

Only overtaking on the right and check blindspot/traffic on your back before executing.

Ride in a predictable manner and keep to your lane

Keep 3 meters (safe distancing) length from front cyclist.

No sudden braking if you drop something.

Do not ride or stop beside tipper truck or bus.

Always stay behind big vehicles.

Spotted Hazard/Potholes? Echo or show hand signal to the cyclist behind you.

No helmet, No Ride!

Night Rides? Put on yout headlight (White) and taillight (Red)
