What we’re about
Welcome to the Nashville Social 30s-40s group! I know it is kind of a boring name... but I promise that will be the only boring thing about this group! I'm an experienced Meetup host but new to Nashville. Whenever I move somewhere new I love researching and creating a bucket list of all the quintessential experiences to have in the area. I've got a list started and am excited to start adventuring!
Are you looking to meet new people, in our age group, while marking a few things off your Nashville, Tennessee or 2025 bucket list? If so, this Meetup is for you!
I'm looking forward to socializing over a cup of coffee/tea, engaging in lively discussions and exploring all that Nashville has to offer! You know what they say... it's not what you do in life that makes it fun—it's who you do it with!

About the Park from the web:
"The park is home to an abundance of activities for guests to enjoy. The main hiking trail follows the wall of Old Stone Fort which was used by the Native Americans as a ceremonial gathering place. The trail threads through dramatic scenery where you can see the original entrance of the fort which was designed to face the exact spot on the horizon where the sun rises during the summer solstice. Visitors can learn about the Old Stone Fort on this hike with twelve interpretive panels as well as enjoying the areas graceful waterfalls."

It is approximately 1 hour from Nashville.
About the Trail from the web:
"Enclosure Trail - 1.40 Miles - Easy to Moderate. Accessed behind the stone museum building, the trail has a set of 12 interpretive signs to help explain the enclosure site along the way. The path is a loop that follows the perimeter of the fort, traveling along the deep gorges cut by the rivers on either side of the site. It first goes between the two pedestal mounds flanking an entrance to the enclosure. The entrance was designed to face the exact spot on the horizon where the sun rises during the summer solstice. Step Falls, Blue Hole Falls, and Big Falls can be viewed from the trail, as well as remnants of an old paper mill foundation. Please use caution by the cliff area."

Coffee & Conversation @ Retrograde (Germantown)
Retrograde Coffee - Germantown, 820 4th Ave N, NASHVILLE, TN, USWe are taking this week's coffee & conversation series to Retrograde at Ballpark Village in Germantown!
ABOUT from web:
Founded in 2018 on historic Dickerson Pike, Retrograde set out to be more than a café — a true neighborhood coffee stop. A place to gather, connect, and spark ideas. What began as a local hangout quickly became a creative hub for neighbors, professionals, and artists alike. Today, Retrograde has three locations--East Nashville, Germantown, and West Nashville.
From Multi-Roaster to Roaster
In the early days, we served coffees from roasters we admired. In 2021, we began roasting our own coffees. Today, our sister company, Lightspeed Coffee, roasts in small batches, crafting coffees for both our cafés and a growing list of wholesale partners in Nashville and beyond.
