7.9 miles, 1745 ft gain

This is my medium loop and is less distance & elevation gain than the harder version of this hike.

We'll start out on Hoot Owl, have 3 small, steep hills, and then get into a 2.5 mile, 900 ft gain hill. The views from the top are worth it! After a snack break, we'll head back on Smith Ravine, which is mostly downhill in this direction.

Ellevated hikes are fast-paced, and offer options on to go ahead on steep hills. I wait at intersections and won't leave anyone behind. You are solely responsible for your safety, so honor your body. I have no special training, but I'm volunteering to show you the way.
