You’re invited to arrive 20 minutes before the sunrise (sun rises at 6:39) , quietly get settled in the lawn or steps (the grassy lawn in front of Osteria) in any space and way that feels appropriate to you to have a 15 minute meditation sit.

Please bring anything you need for staying warm, sitting (cushion), being in the ground (yoga mat).

The meditation will start and end with a bell.

The meditation will be unguided. So the invitation is to meditate in your way, in a seated or lying down position. Eyes opened or closed.

If you are new to meditation, feel free to listen to a guided meditation with headphones, or search for a style that resonates with you. A recommendation would to simply sit crosslegged, eyes closed and spend the time paying attention to a mantra or your in and out breath and awareness of the moment. Practicing letting go of thoughts and reactions as you feel them arise and focusing back on your attention object ex. breath.

Afterwards we’ll have some coffee available if anyone wants to grab some, talk or just sit quietly and watch the rest of the sunrise. Please bring a mug or bottle for the coffee.
