About us
We host events for remote workers and digital nomads to add a social element to a lifestyle that can be liberating, but isolating. Throughout Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary and beyond, we have daytime co-working meetups at cafes, restaurants and breweries where you can plop down with your laptop and enjoy the company of fellow remote workers while you do whatever it is you do professionally. We also do occasional evening happy hours, social events and group retreats. Learn more about us and sign up for our Slack community and newsletter at www.durhamremote.com
Note: Seating is often limited at our daytime co-working events, so please RSVP considerately--do so only if you actually plan to attend an event, and un-RSVP if your plans change so we can get an idea of where we should sit and how many seats we should wrangle.

Downtown Cary Pub Crawl
The Bark Bar, 308 Walker St, Cary, NC, USNow that it's warmed up, it's that time of the year again: PUB CRAWL TIME! So come unwind after a long week and get to know fellow remote workers/digital nomads (or the nomad-curious). Don't be shy about coming alone--meeting others is the whole point, and there's no better way to do that than stumbling on a magical journey through some of downtown Cary's finest establishments.
As we have in past crawls, we'll start at the Bark Bar (pictured above--look for Eric in a yellow Triangle Remote shirt and/or people with name tags). It's an outdoor bar in the middle of the gorgeous Downtown Cary Park (it's sheltered so no worries if there's rain). We'll hang out there for the first hour-and-a-half or so, then head around the corner to the new Vino & Tap (formerly Cotton House), followed by Pharmacy Bottle + Beverage, then finish off at Bond Brothers (route subject to change). These places are all close together--total walk time from start to finish will be less than 15 minutes. If you're arriving after 8pm, check the comments below--we'll update each time we move on to a new venue, but the plan is to spend roughly an hour at each place, and stay out as long as people are up for it.
If driving, your best bet is the Town of Cary Library Parking Deck, which is FREE and right beside the park. Also worth noting: the first half of the crawl falls within the Cary 'Social District', meaning you can carry open containers of alcohol with you. So no need to chug your drink when we go on the move...unless you're into that sorta of thing!
While we've got you here, be sure to also check out our website to see everything else we do, like our newsletter about remote working in the Triangle and our Slack community of remote workers in the area. Visit www.durhamremote.com
