Bike ride, a bit of nature. +/- 14 miles. Offsite viewing of Wings Over Houston

Bike ride +/- 14 miles along some neighborhood streets to Exploration parks paved trails and beyond.

After the ride we will see, from the outside of the event, some of the jet planes that fly around Ellington airport for the "Wings over Houston" (WOH) event.

This park might be a hot spot for watching WOH for free? We might have to find an alternate nearby parking lot? There are a number of places to grab something to eat and bring to the park to enjoy while some of the planes fly by. Blue Angels begin thier program at around 3pm. Start time for the Blue Angels is subject to change. Featured flying ends @ 415pm.

Before the day of the ride, airup your tires, make sure they hold air. Check your brakes, oil your chain.

When riding with the group, ride as if you are riding by yourself. Look both ways before crossing streets. I have extra yellow construction vests. Ask me for one if you would like to borrow.

No restrooms at the park.
