We will meet at Fritz Burger & walk to the area where the parade will be held. It’s usually a traffic nightmare trying to enter the paraded area nevertheless a parking spot- Fritz Burger is usually closed that day so parking is a best option with no parking fees + less likely to be involved in traffic jams.
Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) is a Mexican holiday that is a time where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that includes food, drink and celebration. While it started in Mexico, it is celebrated across Latin America as well.
There will be a lot of authentic Mexican food vendors, a lot of people dressed up in traditional garb- traditional Mexican clothing with skeletal motifs that you can take your pictures with or admire from afar, there will be a ceremonial displays as well along with live music.
