✨ Group Movie Outing – The Wind Rises ✨
Hey everyone! Let’s catch a screening of The Wind Rises together 🎬🌸 This film is part of ACMI’s special exhibition on the music of Joe Hisaishi – the genius behind most Studio Ghibli soundtracks. If you’re into music, anime, or history, you’ll love this one!
📅 When: Saturday 12th October
Meet from 2:30 PM (movie starts at 3:00 PM sharp). It runs for about 2 hours, so we’ll finish around 5:00 PM. Afterwards, anyone who’s keen can stick around to hang out or grab some dinner together.
📍 Where: ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image), Flinders Street, right at Federation Square.
Easiest way there: train to Flinders Street Station or jump on any tram that stops at Fed Square.
We will be gathering at the main entrance to ACMI which faces Flinders street.
💡 If you’d like support to attend, please feel free to bring them along!
Also feel free to invite a plus one.
Tickets are priced as follows:
- Full: $20
- Concession: $16 (Valid cards include: Health Care Card, student cards, senior cards, pensioner cards and carers cards.
- ACMI Member: $14
- Companion card holders will have free entry.

Tickets bought online will also need to be presented at the venue.
