Let's continue our conversation about Love as we dive deep into the work of the iconic Bell Hooks. If you weren't able to attend our previous meeting, this is a great opportunity to take this topic to the next level. Everyone is welcome.

This is part of our new Book Club Discussion series focused on social awareness.

For those who don't know who Bell Hooks was: She was a social theorist, cultural critic, and feminist author whose books touched on topics ranging from challenging our current understanding of masculinity and race, all the way to how we can all choose to practice love as a revolutionary act.

If you're new to the club, we hope to meet you and learn from your perspectives about this and other fascinating writers. Looking forward to exploring how hooks' vision of love as resistance can reshape our understanding of relationships, community, and social change.

Fair warning: this time you actually need to do the reading, lol. Enjoy the book and see you on Oct 25th.

Attendance Requirement: All attendees must purchase food or drinks from the cafe to support the local business hosting our event.

We'll also ask for a small $2 donation to help us cover the Meetup fees.

Come ready for great conversations, paradigm-shifting insights, and a welcoming community of curious and thoughtful individuals ready to examine the fundamental forces that drive human behavior and society.
