It's time for our annual group discussion!
Doors open at 2:30pm for refreshments and social time. Program starts at 3pm.
Humanist values of empathy, community, truth, and fairness seem to be on the decline these days, supplanted by authoritarianism, theocracy, and oligarchy.
- Is this a temporary blip in a generally progressive arc of history, or a sign of a lasting paradigm shift?
- How can humanist ethics and principles help in the current moment, and come to greater prominence in the future?
- How can we truly put the American Humanist Association's "Ten Commitments" into meaningful practice?
You can read about the Ten Commitments here
Join NOSHA for a discussion of how to maintain and promote our values, when they are truly being put to the test.
