Please join the Friends of the C. G. Jung Society of New Orleans for the second of this Autumn's Lecture series. No background in Jungian concepts necessary, and this lecture is an excellent way to continue to acquaint yourself with some of the basics, even if you were unable to attend Part 1. PLEASE NOTE that this is a paid event, with a cost of $20, or is included with a membership to the C. G. Jung Society. CEUs are usually available for an additional $20. Most programs are approved for Social Work contact hours through Tulane School of Social Work and for LPC clock hours through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). The C. G. Jung Society of New Orleans has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5388. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. The C. G. Jung Society of New Orleans is solely responsible for all aspects of the program. Please see the C. G. Jung Society's website to register and for more information at:

This lecture will go deeper into the concepts of persona, shadow, complexes, anima/animus, archetypes, and typology. These two presentations together are intended to give attendees the big picture and to invite them to dig deeper into the meanings and concepts coming from Carl Jung, a great pioneer of psychology.
Objectives: Participants will: 1) be able to articulate the similarities and differences between Freudian and Jungian views of the psyche; 2) learn a wholistic view of the contents of the Jungian psyche and where these contents fit together; and 3) be able to converse with others about typology and the differences in different people.
