New York Story Night

We’ve been hosting Story Night at the 2nd floor of the Churchill Tavern in downtown Manhattan since 2022! We host twice a month, typically on a Monday, 7-10pm.

At 7pm, name-drawing starts and reading submissions close. Each writer gets 20 minutes to read. If your reading time is under the 20 mins, we open it up for comments/questions/feedback from the audience. Every three readers we do a short intermission for everyone to have a small break and also mingle!

Stories can be fictional or non-fictional, we also do not do any censorship. At Story Night, we do not do poetry and we also don’t do open mic (meaning stories must be written down!).
