A Beautiful Hike, History & Fun, and a little Treasure Hunt!

Details

🌟 Mark your calendar for a Hat Trick on Saturday, September 20th at 9:00 AM — three fun experiences in one morning!

✨ Stop One: The Hike
We’ll meet at the historic 1742 Tavern (John West House) at the corner of Route 252 and Goshen Road. Parking is available there, or across the street at Newtown Square Presbyterian Church. Then we’ll head out on the Liseter Trail for a refreshing 3.5-mile loop through the 50-acre Meadows Preserve. Expect gorgeous fall colors from late-blooming flowers like goldenrod, asters, milkweed, blue mist, ironweed, and coneflowers. Don’t forget your walking shoes — there are some grassy slopes!

✨ Stop Two: History & Fun
Back at the Tavern, enjoy tours, refreshments, and Tarot card readings in this landmark that’s been standing since the 1700s.

✨ Stop Three: Treasure Hunting
If you love a good flea market find, you’re in luck! The Newtown Presbyterian Church Flea Market will be happening right across the street from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

🌿 Whether you’re a walker, a history lover, or just looking for a fun Saturday outing, we’d love to see you. Get some fresh air, learn about the lives of our neighbors from the 1700s and 1800s, and meet new friends!

📍 When: Saturday, September 20th, 9:00 AM
📍 Where: Gather at the 1742 Tavern, Newtown Township
We hope you’ll join us!
