Have you ever wondered what it takes to train for, and play in, an equestrian polo match? Fortunately, one of the most historic polo centers in the country is ready to show you the ins and outs of one of the world's oldest team sports. Are you ready to experience a day in the life of a polo player?
Join New York Adventure Club for a fun day of hands-on activities, majestic horses, and heart-pounding polo with the Meadowbrook Polo Club at their Bethpage Park, NY polo grounds, which has hosted some of the greatest polo players in the world.
Led by Meadowbrook Polo Club player and staff member George Fox, our exclusive full-day experience at Bethpage Polo in the Park will include:
-An introduction to the sport of polo
-A class-room style overview of the sport's history and basics , including player positions, equipment needed, rules of play, and more
-A hands-on polo workshop covering everything from how to hold the polo mallet to how to properly hit the ball during play, which will culminate with a fun "ground" match
-A special visit with the ponies, players, and grooms in the tack-up area as they prepare for the day's polo match
-A walk on and around the polo field , the largest playing surface in all of sports
-Private access to the VIP area with amazing views of the polo field
-Complimentary food and sparkling refreshments during the polo match
-Game day polo ball raffle and post-game quiz for fun prizes
-A post-game meet-and-greet with the players over some bubbly
Your ticket includes admission to the polo grounds, an official course manual, a two-hour polo workshop, exclusive horse tack-up area access, reserved seating, a parking pass, and finger food and refreshments.

*Please double check train departure times the day before as schedules can shift due to track work.
By Public Transit:
Take the Long Island Railroad train departing at 9:12 am from Penn Station and disembark at Farmingdale Station at 10:33 am. Take a cab or Uber to Bethpage Polo in the Park located at the end of Bethpage State Park Picnic Polo Rd. $8 parking fee waived for registered guests.
By Car: Attendees will receive free parking as part of this experience.
