Fellow Bitcoiners and cryptocurrency friends, for our next meetup we are welcoming two speakers to update us on reporting, accounting and taxation topics:
- How crypto exchanges worldwide will be reporting your trades to the Cypriot tax authorities, starting from January 1st, 2026. Introduction to the DAC8 directive by the EU and the Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework (CARF) by the OECD. Orestis Agathangelou LLM (Technology Law), LLB (International and European Law) is a Key Account Manager and legal counsel at Klidi.io
- How Cypriot corporations account for their crypto transactions and holdings using IFRS and how the new 8% crypto tax affects them. Marios Souroullas FCA BFP BA is a Director of Private Clients Accounting and Cyprus Corporate Solutions at KENDRIS.
