PLEASE NOTE: We respect everyone by respecting everyone's safety first. If you've been removed recently, please join again with a profile photo that meets these basic requirements and really answer all five of the questions.
Events are for MEMBERS ONLY with CLEAR FACE/EYES PHOTOS and REAL FIRST NAMES. Please don't just show up. On your member profile, you must use your real first name (no handles) and a close-up photo with nothing blocking a clear view of your face/eyes (no sunglasses, no phone, no mask, obviously). The profile photo/name is for the purpose of EASY, accurate identification--otherwise, it's non-information (useless). Thank you in advance for being cool about this.

WELCOME to the Night Owls! We do everything but mornings.
This is the social group for people who keep odd hours. We prefer to sleep in and do most so-called "morning" things later in the day. If you struggle on North American time, you may be one of us!
Consider joining us IF these 2 statements are true:
(1) You're great to be around: kind, respectful, interesting, can laugh at yourself, like to try new things, and care about community.
(2) "Centralized" valley areas are convenient for you. That’s mostly downtown Phoenix or anywhere within walking distance from ANY light rail station.

**Our 5 little but strict policies:**
Too many joining don't read these. Please read all! Not following all of these will end up in removal.
**(1) Name Policy**
A REAL first name (no handles) on your profile is required at all times. If you really want more privacy than that, an in-person group like this one is not for you. We won't play detective; we will remove your membership!
**(2) Photo Policy**
We are an in-person only group that often meets up at night. A clear close-up FACE-only photo (NO SUNGLASSES, masks, or cosplay) is required on your profile at all times. No distant photos! We won't zoom into a blur; we'll remove your membership.
**(3) No Ghosting!**
We have a 3-strike no-show/vanishing policy (but only 2-strikes when it comes to events with waiting lists). All organizers are volunteers who are very generous with their time. Please don't disappear and cause the organizers to search/wait (they will feel obligated to make sure your are ok). If you have to leave early, just say thanks and bye or leave a message on the event page in the comments.
**(4) No soliciting!**
Please refrain from using this group just to find dates, converts, or customers.
**(5) Inactivity**
We like to keep our membership roster accurate. Inactive members in good standing (and not banned from viewing the group page) may rejoin anytime when their schedule opens up to attend events. If you will be away for an extended period, you can let us know too.
