Welcome to Nikkei Social.
This launch dinner is a small, curated table for Japanese, Nikkei, and Japan-curious people in Vancouver who want a modern community through great food and genuine conversation. Think relaxed, warm, and easy to connect, no activities, no speeches, no awkward games.
This is not a language exchange, not anime or fandom-focused, and not a networking pitch night. English-first by default, Japanese is always welcome naturally.
What to expect:
- A reserved table at a restaurant
- Light hosting and easy introductions
- Good conversation, good food, and a friendly, inclusive vibe
- You’ll leave knowing at least a few people by name
How it works:
- Everyone covers their own food and drinks
- Please arrive on time, it helps us get seated smoothly
- Spots are limited to keep the table comfortable
