Kihei Beach Tour
Details
November 15
Time to get our feet wet n' dirty and burn some calories in the process. Join this South Maui beach walk challenge where we will hit 8 beaches on a 2.25 mile stretch, from Kalama Park down to Keawakapu (where you should plan on jumping in and cooling off) before retracing our path for the return trip (~4.5 miles total).
This is a beautiful stretch of coastline and our feet will *mostly* be bare in the sand as we exercise our legs while exploring this lovely stretch of Central to South Maui.
Also, let's keep our eyes open for whales!
Come with a goal of dipping your feet in each of the eight beaches (and maybe a whole lot more).
Where to Meet
Lets meet at the center parking area near the skate park around 8ish. From there our adventure will begin.
What to Bring
Slippahs, water, sun-protection, bathing suit...and of course your aloha spirit!
*Note that while this can be done barefoot, there are some rocky sections to navigate, one sidewalk section, (and the path to the boat ramp is gravely and rough) so I advise flip-flops or sandals that can easily be removed for walking in sand and easily put on when/if needed.
Beaches: Kalama Park -->Cove -->Charley Young -->Kamaole 1 --> Kamaole 2 -->Kamaole 3 -->Boat Ramp -->Keawakapu
