Welcome to the Noosa 50s Professional Women’s Social Group - Noosa 50sPWSG !

Noosa 50sPWSG is perfect for women in their 50s with a profession, or who are corporates. It may suit some entrepreneurs, too. The group caters to 'like-minded' women, at a similar life stage, in the Noosa Council area, and surrounds (<20mins from Noosa Junction), who are interested in fostering connections through diverse activities such as meals, walks, kayaking, movies, and more. Most events take place in the Noosa coastal towns, and are small group activities (up to 6), so that members can best get to know one another.
The current membership comprises a diverse group of women from various professional backgrounds, including (but not limited to): psychology, tertiary lecturing, project management, interior design, law, and medicine.
The group may not suit sole traders without a past or present profession.
The ladies in our community are especially warm and welcoming 😊.
** Please note: We are not a boozy social club.
Joining & Membership Fee: After attending one event to see if this group is for you, a $10 joining fee will be requested and banking details provided. Membership is currently $10/6mths and helps to pay the Organiser's Meetup Fees (currently $340/6 mths). The next membership fee will be in August 2025.
New members who do not attend an event within three months, will be politely removed from our group. Please don't take this personally - it's purely to keep an "active membership" base. You are very welcome to re-join us at any point.
Guidelines for joining this group:
- 50-59 yo
- Live permanently in the Noosa Council or surrounding area
- A photo of yourself is on your Meetup profile, for recognition at events
- A LinkedIn profile link is provided for verification, with 'Request to Join'
- No joining for the purpose of business networking or fundraiser promotion
- Always demonstrate friendliness, respect and generosity of spirit
- You take full responsibility for your own safety when participating in the group's activities. As a social club, we do not have insurances
- You agree to a joining fee, currently only $10. Membership fees also apply x 2/year
