From Physics to Physiology – Why Healing Is Not Random

THIS WEEKS TOPIC: THIS WEEK’S TOPIC: From Physics to Physiology – Why Healing Is Not Random
Guest Speaker: Dr Jo Martin, Good Move Osteo
What if the way the body heals has less to do with isolated problems and more to do with how well everything in the body is working together?
Most of us grow up thinking about the body in parts – a sore back, a bad knee, headaches, tight shoulders. But the body doesn’t really work like separate pieces – it works as a coordinated system, constantly adapting and responding to the world around us.
In this talk Jo will explain why healing may not be random at all, and how coordination, rhythm, and communication inside the body may be just as important as structure and strength.
During the talk we’ll explore:
• Why the body functions as an interconnected system
• How coordination and rhythm influence health and recovery
• The connection between physics principles and physiology
• Why some issues become persistent and complex
• How the body regulates, adapts, and heals over time
Come along for a thoughtful conversation about the body, health, and how everything may be more connected than we think.

### About the Speaker
Dr Jo Martin is an osteopath whose interest in how the body heals began after a near-fatal motorcycle accident and a long recovery process. That experience led him to look more deeply at how the body adapts, regulates, and heals over time.
With a background influenced by both scientific training and holistic and spiritual health perspectives, Jo is particularly interested in bridging clear scientific understanding with the broader and more subtle dimensions of health and life, and helping people see the body not as separate parts but as a coordinated system.
