Lake Tahoe Camping Adventure
Somewhere near South Lake Tahoe, Tahoe Region, South Lake Tahoe, CA, USJoin us for a laid‑back summer escape to Lake Tahoe that blends forest camping, lake adventures, shared meals, and great company.
We’ll be camping together at the stunning dukMé?em wáťa (Wave Creek) Campground inside Sugar Pine Point State Park—one of Tahoe’s most scenic and historic locations.This meetup is designed for anyone craving a relaxed, social, outdoorsy weekend—whether you’re a seasoned camper or pitching a tent for the first time.
Carpooling will be coordinated closer to the event.

Friday, August 14 – Monday, August 17, 2026
Location: Ed Z’berg Sugar Pine Point State Park Tahoma, CA
Cost: $20 per person to join the reserved group campsites
(non‑refundable; covers campsite reservation costs)- $10 per vehicle per day for park entry (carpooling strongly encouraged)
Capacity: This meetup is capped at 24 campers plus hosts to keep things comfortable and well‑organized.
How to Join:- Add yourself to the waitlist.
- Once the $20 camping fee is received, you’ll be moved to Attending within 48 hours.

Optional Group Meal Plan — $30
Want to keep food easy and stress‑free? Join the Group Meal Plan, which includes:- All group breakfasts

Everyone who joins the meal plan participates in meal prep and cleanup—teamwork keeps camp running smoothly.

Saturday (Lake Day)
- Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, optional breakfast burritos (sausage)
- Pack Lunches: Turkey & cheddar, PB&J, chips
- Dinner: Build‑your‑own fajitas (vegetable, beef, or chicken)
Sunday
- Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, optional breakfast burritos (bacon)
- Pack Lunches: Same as Saturday
- Dinner: Cheeseburgers with coleslaw or potato salad
Monday Departure
- Leftovers, muffins, oatmeal, and coffee
🌊 Saturday Lake Tahoe Adventure (Optional Add‑On)
During the weekend, there’s an optional Lake Tahoe Adventure Day at Zephyr Cove, Tahoe’s iconic adult summer playground.This experience is hosted by Bucket of Adventures, in collaboration with NorCal Socials and Heart & Soul, and requires a separate RSVP to ensure accurate headcount.
You’re welcome to relax at camp instead—this meetup is designed to be flexible and pressure‑free.About Sugar Pine Point State Park
This breathtaking 2,314‑acre park features towering pine, fir, aspen, and cedar forests, nearly two miles of Lake Tahoe shoreline, historic estates, and scenic trails including:- Lakefront Interpretive Trail
- Rod Beaudry Trail
- Dolder Nature Trail (home to the world’s highest‑elevation operating maritime navigational light)
Wildlife sightings may include black bears, chipmunks, coyotes, and more—so expect a true Tahoe nature experience.
