Gerle Loop and Cronan Ranch West Ridge Trail

Let's hike this 7.7-mile loop trail in Pilot Hill. We'll begin our hike on the west side of the Gerle Loop trail and circle around the Down and Up trail. This route will take us through a variety of beautiful landscapes in both open and wooded terrains. Be prepared for steep hills and rugged paths. We'll also see where the "Love Comes Softly" movies were filmed, a western set in the 1800's starring Katherine Heigl and Dale Midkiff.
Well-behaved dogs comfortable with other dogs are welcome. As this area is popular for cyclists and hikers, owners should have their dogs close by at all times in the off leash areas. To be off leash, dogs must obey voice commands. We will wait 5 mins before starting.
