North Jersey Bowling, Volleyball, Soccer, Games, And More

We're a group of people who may start by hitting the ball around and then likely break up into two teams for 30-90 minutes of play.

We'll be heading outdoors to the Columbus Park hard court off West Franklin Street in South Hackensack. It's surrounded by tall black fencing and is next to the small soccer/futsal field.

There's no fee to play and nothing else you need to do besides show up. All are welcome!! It's just for fun! Come anytime! We're not in a league and are not here to analyze your form. These meetups are just a whole lot of fun and over time, it's a lot of familiar faces.

** If you have trouble finding the court or group, you can call or text me at 201-234-9609. There's a couple dozen parking spots on West Franklin Street. Plus, it's nestled in a residential neighborhood, so there is other street parking. **

We don't have the court reserved and if it happens to be taken, we may play with those already occupying it or will try to relocate on the fly. It's certainly possible that we may have to cancel that day if we can't find a suitable spot. Please keep that in mind. And if it's looking like it'll rain or snow, I'll make a call on whether to cancel around an hour ahead of time.

Please bring a ball if you have one for use during the game. Feel free to bring a speaker for music, or snacks and drinks for consumption during play.

We're a group of people who may run as a group for 30 to 60 minutes around Dahnert's Lake County Park on Midland Avenue in Garfield and then another 1.5 miles to Huddle House, a diner at 17 Outwater Lane, where we'll sit down and have breakfast/lunch/brunch. (www.huddlehouse.com)

We'll be meeting at the park near the two flag poles on Midland Avenue across from the Dunkin and near the library.

The actual run route will be based on the preferences of the group upon arrival and the plan will be finalized before we start. If upon meeting we realize there will be significant differences in pace, we can split up accordingly.

As for getting back from the diner, depending on how much people eat, it may just be a walk or slow jog back to the park, or people, of course, could arrange for pick up on their own. :)

All are welcome for 18 holes of indoor mini golf at Monster Mini Golf in Paramus.

This is just another low-key, fun activity to add into the rotation thanks to the recommendation of Satish, a regular participant in our other events.

It's $14 per person. Everyone pays individually upon arrival and before play. The 18 holes take around an hour to get through. We'll move through the holes in smaller groups of five or less. Please know that it's possible there may be a wait list upon arrival. Also, food and drinks are not allowed on the premise, so fuel up ahead of time.

Monster Mini Golf is located at 49 East Midland Ave. in Paramus inside the same building as Bury The Hatchet, where we gathered once before for axe-throwing.
